MEET GEM

Precision.
Intuition.
Resonance.

Gem's path into sound healing began not with ceremony, but with sound itself. A background in the music industry gave her an intimate understanding of how frequency shapes experience, how a particular tone, placed at the right moment, can shift an entire room.

From there, her practice deepened through years of dedicated training across yoga philosophy, Tibetan sound medicine, and somatic bodywork. She has trained and practised across 12 countries, studying directly with masters in Nepal, Bali, and across Southeast Asia.

What Gem brings to her sessions is rare: technical precision and genuine intuition working together. She reads a room, and a body, with accuracy. She knows which bowl to reach for before she can explain why, and the results her clients report consistently reflect this.

Her methodology is not one thing. It draws from vibroacoustic therapy, Tibetan medicine, chakra philosophy, and the science of brainwave entrainment. But in the room, it is simply: listening, and responding.

She is based in Central London and works with clients from across the world, in-person and, for select clients, on retreat.

"The body already knows how to heal. Sound simply reminds it of what it has forgotten."

TRAINING & CREDENTIALS

Grounded in rigorous practice

A decade of dedicated study across disciplines, combining ancient tradition with contemporary understanding of the nervous system.

Music & Acoustics

Professional background in the music industry. Deep structural understanding of frequency, resonance, and how layered tones interact with human perception and emotion.

Tibetan Sound Medicine

Trained directly with masters in Nepal and across Southeast Asia in traditional Tibetan singing bowl techniques, both therapeutic and ceremonial applications.

Yoga & Breathwork

Certified yoga teacher with specialisation in pranayama and somatic breath practices. Breathwork is integrated into all private sessions as a preparation and amplifier.

Chakra Philosophy

Extensive study of the chakra system as a functional map of the energetic body, applied practically in session work, not as abstract theory.

Vibroacoustic Therapy

Understanding of the clinical applications of sound and vibration, how specific frequencies interact with the autonomic nervous system and brainwave states.

Somatic Bodywork

Training in body-based approaches to trauma, tension, and emotional holding, informing how Gem reads and responds to the body during sessions.

THE INSTRUMENTS

Tools of the practice

Each instrument carries a distinct quality of resonance. Gem has spent years learning not just how to play them, but when, reading what a session requires and responding in real time.

No session uses every instrument. The selection is always intuitive, always purposeful.

Crystal Singing Bowls

Pure quartz, high, clear, penetrating tones that resonate at a cellular level.

Tibetan Singing Bowls

Hand-hammered bronze, complex overtones that layer and sustain. Grounding and deeply somatic.

Chimes & Tingsha

Space-clearing, transitional tones. Used to open and close sessions, or mark shifts within.

Crystal Pyramid

Rare instrument. Produces a singular tone, focused, penetrating, and directional in its effect.

Shamanic Drum

Used in selected sessions to anchor and ground, particularly effective for those who are highly activated or scattered.

Breathwork

Conscious connected breath as preparation, opens the body before sound begins its work.

APPROACH

Sound before story

Gem's approach is rooted in a simple conviction: the body holds information that the mind has not yet processed. Much of what we carry, as stress, anxiety, physical tension, or emotional blunting, is stored in tissue, not thought.

Sound reaches these places directly. It does not require you to articulate, analyse, or explain. It simply moves through, and in moving, loosens what has been held.

This is why clients who have been in therapy for years sometimes experience in a single session what years of talking could not reach. Not because sound is more powerful than therapy, but because it operates through a different door entirely.

Gem does not offer diagnoses, spiritual prescriptions, or promises. She offers her full presence, her trained ear, and the instruments. What happens from there belongs to you.
