Questions, answered

The things people most often ask before their first session. If your question is not here, just ask: every enquiry receives a personal reply.

You lie down fully clothed on a mat with blankets and cushions. After a short conversation and a few gently guided breaths, Gem plays live sound around you: crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes and drum, in slowly shifting layers.

The session closes with silence and quiet time to return. There is nothing to do and nothing to get right.

None at all. You simply lie down, get comfortable and listen. Many people who find seated meditation difficult enjoy sound sessions precisely because nothing is asked of them.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing; you remain fully clothed throughout. Avoid a heavy meal in the hour or two beforehand, arrive reasonably hydrated, and give yourself a few unhurried minutes to arrive.

Everything else, including mats and blankets, is provided.
